I got pulled over today at the Galleria mall for not using a turn signal in a right turn only lane leaving the parking lot!! Thought it was a bit odd as the cop started searching the car for the vin number and asked for my passengers ID as well. Then had a detective come up and ask if I saw a guy put a note on my car at the valet out front of the Westin Hotel. I did not. Guess there are alot of yellow 430's floating around to confuse this morning. After 10 minutes of life time just wasted they came back and said it was a misunderstaning, and that they were doing me a favor to make sure the car was not stolen since these type cars end up in the chop shop's within minutes... Got a good chuckle at all this but was a bit annyoing to have everyone around shooting pics. Glad to see the DPD is on top of their game.

You brought your F430 at the mall? Where did you park? I can't imagine bringing it there or even letting the valet park it.

Is it really that easy to steal a Ferrari these days?

That entire deal sounds crazy to me. It reminds me of the time a friend of mine got pulled over while driving his Bentley GT because the highway patrolman had never seen one of those cars before and just wanted to check it out.

That happened to me many years ago when I was driving my 275 GTB back from New Braunfels. I was southwest of Ft. Worth ( cause I took the back roads ) and caught up in traffic, so traveling stop and go speeds. A State Trooper did a u-turn and pulled me out of the line of traffic allegedly because of no front license plate (true), but really because he wanted to see the 275 (really true). Let me go with a warning.
