    Last night I picked up a new Aviator. This was the only one in the state that was fully loaded. There is not one option that this car does not have. I have to give a hearty thank you to a fellow f-chatter that referred me to the dealer. Now it's time for the kids and the wife to destroy it.

    I here that was disable after someone chash into another car a killed a person (too bad he didn't kill himself or he would have get a darwin)

    that law was changed in oct of 04, now you only get 25k maximum deduction for a suv with over 6 tons gvw...i am not sure the aviator would have quilified anyway, i know the navigator does....

    No. It drives like it should. It feels twice as heavy as the explorer we replaced.

    How does it compare in drive to the explorer? Our family has an old 95 explorer getting a bit long in the tooth and needing replacing.

    We like it a lot. It's worth a look. It's not as big as the others but it has all the room you would need. I am not a big fan of the uber-SUV's.
