    After searching for 2 months, refinancing my house, making offers on a couple and narrowly losing a copart auction, I bought a 348 spider last night. I'm super excited and can't wait to get it home this weekend. I considered shipping cars from the other side of the country but in the end bought a car that is only 3 hours away. I wanted a red convertible (348 or 355) and although I found some other good cars I think I found the one for me.

    I'll post more info in a few days after I get it home.

    Thanks for all the well wishes. I am supposed to pick it up Sunday for the 3 hour drive home. Unfortunately, it's supposed to rain. If I don't get it then I have to wait another week so I think I'm going to drive it anyway. Are 348 spider tops known for leaking?

    I've owned multiple converts over the years (albeit mostly classics) but they all leak. Just bring some towels, it's part of the experience....
