Took bullfighters advice after reading the new owners 3x8 sticky. Great thread. I added both puma cell shoes and piloti driving shoes and enjoy the pedals and room in the 328 even more.

I will give the nod to the puma's for extra comfort and perfect grip. The piloti wins the contest in the fire retardant category only. Feels pretty normal otherwise. Maybe they need to be broken well- in before I like them. I have the 3/4 or mid length pilotis.

I recommend you all get some pumas!

Good to hear. I have some Pumas I wear just for casual wear, I love them. I have been talking to Piloti about becoming a dealer for their shoes. It's good to hear some feedback on stuff, not sure whether or not it would be worthwhile to become a dealer or not, because I'd never heard many people talk about them before. I love their styles and know they are a top quality driving shoe, just glad to hear someone comment about them.

I own a pair of Puma Fusion GT shoes, that have Ferrari shields on them, and LOVE them had them for about six months. Once they are broken in they are AMAZINGLY comfortable.

I have size 14 feet and Puma Future Cats make it much more enjoyable to drive the 328.

Wearing Sperry TopSiders I can barely work the pedals.

My Nike Air basketball shoes don't fit between the pedals at all, it's impossible for me to drive the car with those on my feet.

    Hmm.

I wear 10s, and I can drive the 328 in cowboy boots. I do have a set of Pilotis, but haven't really found them to be that much of a help for normal street driving.

    I'm glad you like them.

I have the Puma Drift Cats in a size 12 and they work wonders in the Mini compared to my Circas or DVS's.

Puma driving shoes have started drifting (no pun intended) into Marshall's here... have found LARGE sizes at pretty deep discounts....so check there.

Some cute Puma girls toured Saint Arnold's Brewery last weekend, they noticed my shoes and left me a cute key chain for the Ferrari...

I have Puma future cats for GP driving and wear Piloti DTMs for my race shoe. For the money, both are great. I have a EEE wide foot, the Puma's are a little snug, but the Pilotis are comfy, but clunky.

I find heel-toe-ing down the hill at Pacific Raceways much easier with Pumas. The side of the sole is too dang tall on the Pilotis.

Oh yea, we some fashion dogs.......LOL!

Been expensive to keep up with the Nike/FILA/Puma transition though, unless you have some sponsor money! LOL!

As Tillman points out in Texas it's more likely cowboy boots, but past size 12 that can get challenging in a Ferrari

My three year old Speedcats are about worn out, and I can't find new ones. Did they cancel the line? Anyone know where I might be able to get some?

Just got some Pilotis for $20 the other day at Ross. I have no idea what they normally cost but they look nice and are comfortable. Got the shoes, now I need the Ferrari. ;)

Based upon your post I dropped by Ross, they did indeed have Pilotis......a size six though, one half of the '12' I needed! LOL!

A good tip though, every store has different inventory.....not sure on the Puma Speedcats..if you are serious check with our Puma Store in the Houston Galleria by phone, they can advise and maybe handle it by phone?????

Check journeys.com. It's a store commonly in shopping malls. I think they still have the speedcats there.

I believe I got mine at the store on Fairmont Parkway in Pasadena. Not sure what part of town you're in though. Mine are 12s. The day I got them they had 12s in multiple styles though you are indeed correct in saying that all the stores have different stock and it changes constantly so who knows what they have today.

Black PUMA Speedcats on hand, at the Marshalls in Richmond, TX out Hwy. 59 way.....found two pair in 12 and lots smaller if anyone needs them...the PUMAs seem to run small......$39.95 a pair

Politi's at the ROSS next door, lots of smaller sizes but only one 12 my size there, they seem to run large!!! $19.95 a pair.

So there you go, all set now! :D

Easier to find in the Marshalls display the ROSS was pretty jumbled, but even at Marshalls they had to sort ALL the boxes as one of the 12s had gone "missing" ...LOL!

I had never tried the Pilotis so picked up the one pair, cheap enough...both the Pumas and FILAs I have tried are heaveier than the NIKEs I once used during the Tommy Hilfiger years.....

But yea, I wanted to see...

Other PUMAs I have seen at Marshalls are the Driftcats, the Munich and the Romas, all nice shoes.

Dr. Barry says the red ones have actual Ferrari logos??? I have't run across any of those yet at a discount, but red driving shoes are not my bag anyway, my whole driving suit is red so I go black usually.....

We pay much much more for Pumas and Piloti up here in Canada! The last pair of Pumas I bought cost me $139.99 and the Piloti are even more. Anyone wanna pick me up a pair of Speed Cats in White Leather? I need a size 9! I wouldn't mind a pair of Piloti for $20 as well. I can make it worth your while....LOL

What's with the pebble and/or tread block soles on "driving moccasins", these days? I just want something that won't wear through quite as quickly as calfskin.

(Coming soon: Hamilton driving boots: "These boots were made for Woking". :p)
