    Several questions for the board
The Advice would be greatly appreciated

My order for my new F430 coupe is expected to be delivered by late September

What items should I post purchase install (skid plates?, bug shield?, any other ideas)

    1. A checklist for pickup
    a. what items should I supervise before delivery (I understand paint has been an issue during delivery, what other items have new owners found after taking delivery they wished they could have fixed or requested)

    2. My intent all along was to pay cash; however the sales agent mentioned loans at 5.9% with exotic terms 24 months to 84 months, lease options and balloon payments. The car was sold to me at msrp plus 20k thats about 235k - deposit 10k + sales tax and anything else i can't think of so lets call it 237.5 net

    3. this is my second fcar (i owned a 456gta several years ago), i greatly appreciate the fact that I was able to get a "new" one and am eagerly anticipating it

I was going to pay 100% cash for my ferrari but when my credit union offered me 4% interest on a 5 year loan I really couldn't not use that.. so I paid about 30k cash and financed the rest.. try to find a better interest rate from a credit union or something etc. 4% makes it a no brainer

I've gone to my credit union and they currently are at 4.75% for up to 72 months.

Same here, my credit union is doing 4.5% flat for up to 72 and slightly higher for longer. Makes it a no brainer.

The dealer (ferrari of cf) said 50k down
I didn't think of calling the credit union assuming they wouldn't finance exotics especially during times where lending rates are tough
I will call in the credit union thx for the input
how bout the other items i mentioned. I am curious to know what to expect at delivery, and exited to find out about the f430 experience

You can pull out a line-of-credit on your home....seen it as low as prime minus 1.01 (3.99%)

And the interest is tax deductible!

I'm not sure pulling equity out of your home to buy a car is the best financial decision one could make.
