Hello, I am currently in the works of purchasing a "Chairs and Flares" 246 GTS and was wondering if there were any differences between the 1973 and 1974 car. Thanks

Michael, one of the guys on the forum has put together an excellent book called the Dino Compendium which would identify the answer to this kind of question. If you post photos here several of the members will tell you what is right or wrong z( not me). Good luck with the purchase and enjoy driving it! I am picking mine (an M series GT) up from its annual service next week - cant wait. Snowy

Late 74 tool kits had a red interior color while the earlier 73s had a brown interior but other than that I can't think of anything different between them.

Buyer beware - make sure the car which is claimed to be a Flares and Chairs is truly that by the Dino Register, Marcel Massini, or any other reputable source.

Over the years quite a few Dinos have added the flares and Daytona seats that were not originally delivered that way, so it might be easy for a seller many times removed from the owner that made the additions to truthfully believe he has a F&C car yet not be so.

Also, I have noticed U.S. GTS's (the ones I've seen) only come with 2 point lap belts vs 3 point with shoulder harness. Also have black vinyl in the rear window coves vs left painted body color.
