    Hey guys,

I just wanted to make you guys aware of something that I did not realize.

First and foremost, Ricambi is my 1st source that I turn for parts. I don't even shop lower cost parts - I do shop higher cost parts. Daniel is a fantastic resource, extremely responsive and excellent customer service.

However, I was just looking for a replacement accelerator pedal cover and he was out of stock (Eurospares was too). Both had advised that these are no longer available from Ferrari so I set out to buy a used part.

What I learned is FNA has these in stock. Apparently (total assumption here) is only dealers have access to FNA parts.

That said, this thread is only for information. Don't forget to check dealers for parts too. I have a good relationship with 2 dealers and they too treat me very well.

    Dave,

Who is your source for parts at Algar? I forgot his name. Thanks much.

FYI you can source some 348 parts from the dealer as well. Not that you'd want to. For me it's a last place source but they carry some odd stuff.

Robb, my contact at Algar is the service manager. Better to just call there and ask for parts.

Yup, the local deal here as access to lots of great parts that many say are NLA.

I needed the little rubber washer between the key lock and the door. Daniel did not have it in stock yet he tracked down the part at a Ferrari dealer and found it for me. The guy is amazing!

I don't think that some parts are only made available to dealers. I think it's just that some parts have been sitting in certain dealer's inventory for a while.

Is this more like dealer stock rather than still getting them from the factory ?

Yes. The parts are coming from Ferrari North America, apparently the part suppliers don't get parts from FNA.
