I am curious about looking into the possiblilty of purchasing a mondial cab and had a few quick questions (which I am sure has been answered before here).

How comfortable are they to drive and sit in?

What do you look for in a used example? (what is considered a reasonable price and in what condition would the car be at that price?)

What are the maintenance requirements & service costs for the them ( I am more familiar with the newer ferrari models)?

Thank you in advance for the help...

    I'll answer these.
Mondials are very comfortable cars, unless you are very tall or big.
Before you buy any Ferrari, get a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI), and ask for repair records. Regarding price, get the best example of the model you can buy, and stay away from very low priced cars.
    Happy hunting.

I have owned one for six years now & thoughly enjoy it. Yes, the car is comfortable & quiet user friendly. The back seat & trunk afford you the opportunity to carry things & travel with the car. A very good friend of mine has a 308 & he has indicated that the Mondial with its increased width & length is more comfortable than the 308. Look far a car that's been driven & serviced. Of course you'll want service records & history. Right now, good Mondial coupes can be had for less than $25K. The service on the car is just like the 308 as many engine parts are interchangeable. Be alert to belt & hose replacements. Service costs are reasonable & comparable to that for the 308. Also, the motor does not need to be removed to perform services such as belts & hoses.

If youre tall, the back seat is useless for anyone else. The frontseat back is flush with the rear seat. It makes a nice place to set things though.

I call it a 3 seater. 2 people in the front, 1 sideways in the back
