Fwiw I just cancelled my allocation with was one of the first ones given out by my dealership back when they had to submit an essay to FNA as to why the customers they chose merited one. My assumption is that my dealer had someone in line for it because the car disappeared from my app within 24hrs. In case anyone is interested in the deposit refund process, apparently FNA sends a refund check to the dealer and the dealer sends a check to the customer. The more I thought about it the less the idea of it appealed to me. With an 812 GTS in the garage I could not think of a single thing that the PS would do better from a driving pleasure pov, and also cost more money. If the 812 replacement is NA V12 I might swap the GTS for it, but that's the only V12 I'm now interested in. Congrats to those in line for one cause it's going to be a great vehicle, just not one that appeals to me any more.
I canned my Purosangue and 296 at the same time - having driven them, they didn’t fulfill what I was looking for so moved on to some what I consider more interesting alternatives. I did this a couple of months ago but just checking today see that they are still shown on my App. I’m sure they will both be snapped up by waiting list of buyers - particularly for the Purosangue as I think my dealer said they had 15 cars allocated and nearly 50 customers wanting one. Agree with your sentiment - congratulations to the next in line.
same boat here. My dealer was not happy that I turned it down when it finally come to my turn. I don't know. I am just hoping the F167 is going to be fugly with hybrid. Then we score with the 812 gts. However, having said that, it likely will be wise to see how the used PS market is after 1-2 years. 400K for a nicely specced one? I will be game.
I am seriously considering dropping both of my orders as well. I'm losing interest by the day, not just with these cars but also with Ferrari's new direction. I don't need another SUV, we have 5 in our family.
Can certainly understand a fleet of 5 SUV’s in a family, particularly if one has a lot of kedzos. Admittedly I was looking for the first 4 door Ferrari to add to our collection, so we jumped on board for a Purosangue. Now, the debate will go on forever whether it’s a SUV or FUV or whatever. Just excited it will have a V12 with NO battery. Not expecting any land speed records though going 150mph should be smooth as glass. When we will see it is another question. For those curious; It is Azzuro California. Interior is Grigio Scouro(sp!). Did take advantage of that new Copper Carbon Fiber trim offered for the first time with these cars. Didn’t get too crazy though an LED Copper Carbon Fiber Heated Steering Wheel was a late addition. Just love those lights going off in the night when driving! Prancing Horses, Italian Flags embroider the headrests in front and back. Sterling Blu stripes adorn seat backs and bottom cushion. Gives quite a pop when one opens the driver’s door. If I can figure a way to get the complete build/configuration onto Ferrari Chat it will make more sense to all viewers.
Are you referring to the wheel well opening moldings? If so, yes. They are a glossy black finish. Preferred it to the flat black which would not go with the exterior paint scheme.
Yes exacltly, looks really good this way! This is the first bright colour configuration that I really like, looks stunning!
Yeah, figured I had enough of the Rosso Corsa cars along the way and thought TdF Blu would be too depressing to look at all the time. We do have TdF Blu on our SF90 which looks great with a car lower to the ground. That illustration by the way is a picture of the Almalgam 1:18 Model I commissioned them to build for The Man-Cave. Thought it would look cool somewhere in there. As noted in a prior thread, no idea when we’ll see the FUV. The configuration is locked in. Cannot change anything. Thank you for your comment.
Just ordered mine today! Woo. Dealer confirmed mid 2025 allocation. Someome dropped out, so I took the opportunity. Can't wait
Wanted to cancel my allocation for the Purosanque as well.... until I drove one, now I can't wait to use it as a daily!
This is what I am hoping for, what was your original expected date? I was checking this thread because Ferrari sent me a video about the Purosangue trying to keep me interested I guess. No one has called to have me configure it so I don't think I am much closer to getting a build slot.
Same boat….had a pretty quick, steady stream of new car allocations and builds and now nada…still haven’t configured either the PS or GTS. Sounds like it’s happening to others too.
I was offered a spot for probably 2027-28. I’m gonna keep my Lusso. I just can’t get myself to spend probably $350K plus my Lusso for this car. I would rather let my kids have the money…. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We turned down PS allocation twice. Did the second test drive for 4 hours straight, picking up coffee, lunch and shopping. My wife had FF and Lusso. My feeling is that this is not a 600k car when our base comparison is Lusso. We have a urus performante coming in. PS is not twice a car comparing to Lusso and UP at all, unfortunately.
I was one of the first to order the Purosangue here in Utah, delivery 2026. It might have been because I bought a new FF years ago, so maybe Ferrari thought I would want this "new version". It makes sense to me here in the Rockies going up and down the canyon, especially to ski resorts in the winter. I tested the demo here last weekend and liked the ride, speed and interior, except selecting the local radio and Sirius stations. I'll use Apple Play to stream music but this is a nuisance they need to sort out.
And 7 clicks to get to start adjustment screens alone on that tiniest circle knob. Wife and I really got frustrated. Yes, they need to sort this out
