It will follow the same depreciation (yes, depreciation) curve as the Urus.
Not at all. There are already many more people who currently want a Puro than there are available allocations, and that number will only increase as soon as people start seeing them on the road. Also, Urus sales account for 59% of all Lamborghini sales worldwide, while Ferrari will limit Puro sales to 20%, so it’s not at all comparable to the Urus. The last piece here is whether or not the V12 version will be even more limited, with a lesser version being sold later on. That’s what I’m most curious about.
Ferrari doesn't do limited editions of GT cars...... No special edition for Portfolio, Roma, FF, Lusso etc
Back of the envelope: Lamborghini did 10k cars, Ferrari 15k.... So it's 6k Urus Vs 3k PS.... Then factor in PS is 1.5-2x Urus we have pretty much the same amount of cash that's sitting in both cars market wise The two cars are very different...PS doesn't really offer the same practicability as the Urus, so it's not a replacement for a family car, while the Urus can be used as such... So for many it was the opportunity to own a Lamborghini at an 'affordable' entry price... Also considering that Urus can be a one car garage, any other lambo can't All the factors don't play for PS, so why PS should have any other depreciation curve compared to other Ferrari V12 is not clear to me
How many v12 Lussos were made vs. Pistas? I bet far less and yet they depreciated hard. The v12 thing is not a big deal to many, only to some of us diehard car guys. I'd also say that anyone that wanted a v12 Purosangue could have gotten one but it would be a question as to when it would be delivered.
In Europe, I could not have gotten a v12. I was told by the dealer. They told me I could have a 2025 delivery but it would be a hybrid. Though I do not currently have a v12 and I know that those customers would take precedence.
It’s simple. Supply and demand. There has never been a supply problem for the Urus, and never will be. However, there is a significant supply problem for the Puro, and always will be. They simply aren’t the same.
Watch out for this guy! He's manipulating here when he doesn't have any data, wrong forum to advertise Audi.
It’s okay. There are a number of people posting in here who clearly don’t know what they’re talking about.
What I said is 100% true. Just because you got an invite doesn’t contradict my statement at all. The fact that you have a Pista and probably have owned other Ferraris is exactly why your dealer offered you an allocation. Every one of us who has one on order got an invitation to order one. But for every one who got an invite, 5 others did not.
I think it’s also important to note that Ferrari made all of us who ordered a V12 Puro put $30k down (instead of the usual $10k), and also sign a 18-month ROFR (instead of the normal 12-month agreement). Ferrari is definitely treating this differently than most other vehicles.
Congrats! Ok let’s put this to the test, in the first 3 months of ownership would you take $1m for a private party sale?
Which data are you missing And as if a post here would make any difference to the prospects of a car brand, don't be pathetic, and neither do I care much about VW products or currently own any
So why don't you put your money where your mouth is and buy a PS for 1m.... Otherwise I am pretty sure you don't know what your talking about
Because I have one on order for MSRP! As I said, don’t know what you’re talking about. I also don’t believe you’ll find anyone willing to damage their relationship with Ferrari by violating the ROFR. But after 18-months of ownership, no restrictions will exist.
I would sell mine immediately. With this said I did not sell my 812GTS or 765 when the prices were through the roof. I enjoy them way too much but the Purosangue is not in the same league. I have an Urus Perf that I am enjoying and I am not certain that the Puro will bring much more.
