I got in and my shirt was kinda up and my belt scratched the seat. Like a 2-3 inch black line. None of my leather stuff is getting it off. Any ideas?

FYI, I'm 6'5" so getting in and out is a real chore

It would help if you told the original color of your seat, and the types of "leather stuff" you've been using so far. Presuming it's tan and the black line is from the black leather part of your belt, I'd start with Windex, and if that doesn't work, move up gently to counter cleaner, then simple green. You don't want something that's too strong a solvent or it will take off some of the tan dye at the same time. Use a cotton swab to apply it so you control it and keep it just on the black line.

Might be your opportunity to become friends with the nice people at Leatherique! :)

Seriously though, I recolored my Tan interior on my Black 328 last year and now that I have "the mix" set aside I never have to fear events such as these. Perhaps this will lead you to getting some mixed up for this and other "oopsies" in the future. Your life will be so much easier when you do.

    Good luck!
