At least two car brands cease to exist by years' end (I'm guessing Saab and Hummer)

I'll still be working toward getting a Ferrari, rather than actually owning one (same is true for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013...)

GM will be nothing but a memory, UAW wanted to riot but they are just too damn lazy.

Zippy will still continue to crap on the kitchen floor.
Pap gets violated buy a kangaroo in the bush.
Gus buys another 328 and sells it 2 months later for a significant loss.
Farmer Dave, well, he can still go F himself.
Robbie will still be a fat F***.
Rob Lay will make me a mod then ban me.
Darth and Stephanie will become an item.

For the first time ever, cable TV networks will begin to shrink, merge, or shut down entirely

Joe Biden will become a political embarrassment to the Obama administration

Global warming theories and research will begin to come into question

A major scandal will hit a major US news media

One of the big three will literally close or merge with one another. Attempts of a foreign buyer taking over will be circumvented by Congress

My predictions? Someone will get nuked, sadly. Just a guess of course.

 

Tesla will fall, as will the Hybrid craze...

 

I dunno about the craze - Killacycle isn't done by a long shot - and inspired manufacturer$ and individuals alike will figure out how to put those batteries to good, realistic use.

 

It depends on where the money goes. The infrastructure for electric vehicles is non-exhistant. It would be easier to develope a biofuel rather than retro fit, the stations we have now with huge electric batteries. Second, Lithium ion technology is not were it needs to be for the electric car to compete. The batteries take up too much space and are too heavy negating any real benefit they are being applied for. Honestly, if i were to put my money on it. I would say that there is no single fuel savior. We will have many different cars running on many different kinds of technology. However I do believe Algae will be the single most used organism/"crop" to power the cars of the future.

Let's not forget the advancement in engine technology as well. The regular piston engine, as romantic as it is, Is a dinosaur. It will not be around in the next hundred or even fifty years to the scale that they are now. Epitrochoid engines or even combustion engines that rotate and generate their power through a circle will be a bigger advancement if we can get the techhnology right. Fusion engines are a possiblity, but probably not in our life time.
