Hi Does anyone have recent experience of putting power steering in their 328. Rardley say they can do it without causing irrevocable harm that would affect resale price so the questions are…is that right and how does car then drive? Thanks, Ian
The only unit I have heard of is the EZ Steer which gets excellent reviews as far as operation/feel BUT the installation requires that a section of the paneling above the steering column be cut out for clearance. This, of course, is not visible unless you look up from underneath the dash. But the panel cutting would undoubtedly reduce resale value.
I had Boardwalk (Chris) install the following power steering in my 328. It works great and you can't tell it wasn't original. Cheers! Mike https://www.cityracerllc.com/products/electric-power-steering-for-ferrari-308-328?variant=20492575014971
