Puzzle

I removed a plastic cover from my Mondial and I can't figure out
where it goes. It's part number is 606980000. I couldn't find a
site that has a good picture of it mounted the car. It's just listed
as a lower cover.


If anyone can help me I would be very grateful.

I figured it out! The piece is the lower cover that sits on top of the steering column
that is half under the dashboard and the other half under the top cover.

If you take this piece out be sure to put it back in before you secure the steering
column to the dash. There is no way I can figure out how to put this piece in
while the column is still attached to the car.

 

That falls under my category of "not needed -- just adds weight". Throw it in a box, mark it with a Sharpie and throw it on the shelf.
