    Yes in my opinion Sta-Bil is safe to use....with no issues.

    I have used Sta-bil fuel stabilizer every winter in my 360 Spider for more than a decade with no issues whatsoever, and no fuel issues either.

    I'd be careful with any brand "moisture remover" -- couldn't find any details about what's in the Stabil's stuff, but methanol is a common ingredient in such products (and isn't good for 1980s-90s CIS IIRC).

    If you suspect water in the fuel, why not drain the tank and let it dry out? If you don't want to drain the whole tank, can you get a tube down to the sump area and suck a gallon out? water is heavier than fuel so it'll be at the bottom.
