Compare with a 5000 next to it, look at the spoiler distance to the ground

I read it is about an inch lower that other countach.
So basically a lowbody S1 is just a lowered suspension car?
IIRC someone in this board is had a lowbody once.

    Thanks

standing ovation for you!!!! thank you so much for sharing that link, those are the best group shots of Lambo's i have ever seen, anywhere. i only wish i could save them in high resolution, but they are stunning pictures nonetheless. i dont know how to tell a low body from an S2 , yet. but i think the yellow car was a low body S1.

    Your welcome Michael.

The yellow Ct is an LP 400 / persicopa. Look at the 'percisope' here:
    http://swisscarsightings.com/lamboclubchsaanen2005/Lamborghini%20Countach%20259.jpg

The red is an LP 400S which I think is an S1 (older type wheel. Actually the best wheel ever put on a Ct). If there are pics of the interior it is easy to spot a llowbody (S1) or an S2.

Enjoy the site, tons of lambo pics such as these:

Wow!!!! I can never get enough of those early Coutachs. Some folks say that they've aged badly...I beg to differ.

BTW, Taffy thanks for that Swiss-car link...just an amazing collection of cars and photos.

Im with you, man. The Countach design will NEVER go out of style. That car was born timeless.

The later Countachs DID age badly. The anniversary cars are a very acquired taste.... they are about as gaudy 1980s as it gets. But they are FAST.

I want an LP400 or early LP400S. Anyone have a lead please let me know!

Man, the countach looks SOO much better without the wing and the rear bumper.
