    Boeing is converting LM jets for destruction. That's a little funny.
    I went to Tyndall 10 years ago. At that time the drones were controlled from the ground when on the ground up to a certain altitude then handed off to an airborne aircraft that managed the airspace in the MOA as well as monitored boats in the Gulf for potential conflicts.

    The A and B models were mostly F100s. Later C models had the common engine bay for the F100s and F110s. There were several versions of the F100, all the way up to the very powerful -229 used in the F-15E and some F-16Cs.
