My wife's QP came off the truck at her office yesterday from scottsdale F. grigio nuvolari/couio. superbly built, interior luxurious and high quality. very compact feel and look. much smaller than S600. rear end v elegant, my concern. she loves it. she actually read the manual last night, a first.
Congrats on the Q-porte. Mine is supposed to arrive in Feb. (Sebring blue/cuio) My wife and I went to an open house a few months ago for the Q-porte and she loved it. She isn't a car fan, usually, so this was a surprise. When Maserati told me that my car would be delayed 4-5 months (originally Sept-Oct) I considered cancelling but she would have nothing of it. Apparently, this car really appeals to women. She won't use the shift paddles but the looks sell for women. Good luck.
congrats watt! mine was delivered last weekend. i m enjoying the car before i write about it. got some nice pics but dont have time to post it. material and finish is great and it is a piece of fine art. the gearbox, even if you are not using the manual mode, needs getting use to. obviously not run in yet, so i m not exploring too much on the potential.
Its great to hear that your wife is enjoying her new car! Thats truly an accomplishment as far as I am concerned. Wish my wife was as cool. Enjoy the new car! JB
Looking forward to seeing pics and hearing more about your thoughts on it. I'm planning on picking one up in the not too distant future and took my wife to "visit" one locally last week. She actually liked it as well (she's a P-car gal and frankly not an F-car fan), so it will definitely become a part of my stable after I hear some feedback from early owners like yourself. It's really the perfect alternative to a 7-series or S-class. The M5 is a consideration, but I'm not at all a fan of the newer body style. Enjoy your new QP!
i'll get some photos up and give you a driving impression asap. auto mode works fine but she uses the paddles. a broker friend of mine [andy cohen] got his first QP into LA, to sell for 25 over, and decided to keep it for himself! says it's the best 4 door he's ever experienced....
Wow, that's quite an endorsement. I look forward to seeing your pics and hearing more about it. Thanks...
here are a few photos http://www.rennteam.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=ferrari&Number=58835&page=0&fpart=2 drove the car briefly -- feels small, and sporty in soprt/manual mode, tons of power, gear box just like CS. much better car than her: -xkr coupe -S600 -XJR -500E
Can someone post the pics here ... I forgot my password over there and I'm never sent a new one when I request it ... my E-mail is already registered
