It seems like there is a long list of options on the QP. What are some of the options that are a "must have" versus some that are fluff. I have seen the wood package treatment on the steering wheel which I am not a fan of. Is this part of an upgraded wood package? Are there interiors with no wood treatment or do all of them have some wood? Is Nav standard? Any insight would be appreciated. Thinking about a possible purchase.

other than the wood you have a metallic trim (very rare), or carbon fiber as in the Sport GT. additional dead tree on the steering wheel and hand brake is an option.

    Nav is standard.

if i get a 06 now, it would be the Sport GT.
if you get a regular QP or executive QP, get the sports package.

the rest of the options are really personal preference.

the massage chairs are fluff. spend the money on an OSIM or Panasonic.

additional option that is a must have is the Tubi exhaust. ;)

Check out the blue car at the top here, it's almost fully loaded with the exception of the back seat screen that I think looks dumb.

The sport package that comes with the 19" wheels over the regular 18's is a must. Also, I really like the two-tone interior with the stiching and pipeing. Also, I hear you can get tubi on these, which I haven't heard yet, but I bet it's really nice. But bottom line, I think the best thing the QP has over a 7-Series or S-Class is that they are so unique. In other words, don't settle for a plain black/tan or silver/black. You can really get some great combos in the interior that makes it feel like a 4-door Ferrari.

    It's a great car, enjoy!

Think the only thing we can't get in the US is "comfort windows" or privacy glass whatever. ..tinting issues in the US I gather but that is definitely an option box I'd tick if it were available here..

    Cheers,

    Chris
