I was just wondering if QP prices are expected to come down over the next few months? If so, what would you guesstimate the prices to be this fall?

Was just at my Maser dealer...He ran the numbers on an 06 QP Sport GT with all the bells and whistles...125K MSRP...and are you sitting down...a 4 yr residual on a lease of a measly 42K...The bank is estimating this value based upon many factors known to them. Now simple math shows a depreciation of 83K over the next 4 yrs...thats 20K plus per year...for reference 2yr old QPs can be had for 85K...thats 20K dep per year. So based on the above...next year maybe the best time to get a used QP in the 60's with 1 yr warranty remaining!

Wasn't MSRP for '05 QPs a lot closer to $100k?

While not a finance guy, that looks to be about 22% depereciation per year.
Is this a straight line depreciation, or is it more biased toward the first year?

I would assume that the first year gets the biggest hit.

Just wait another 5 years. You'll be able to get one on these at the local used car lot for 15 grand. These cars are nothing short of throwing good money out the window. If you can afford to loose 40k in 2 years on a car, give your 120k to chairity, and buy an Accord.
