    1980 Maserati Quattroporte Italian luxury sedan. Blue with saddle full leather interior. All power options. Always garage kept. A rare car with only 31,000 original miles. Owners manual included. Just serviced, new fuel pumps, tires, hoses, belts and battery. Must see. Serious inquiries only. Best offer close to $10k.

    Seems like a pretty clean car underneath. Maybe a decent 20 footer. A few comments from the pics. Classic and expected rust around the window so will need the windows out and repainted. Centre console has something drilled in maybe to do with the alarm? Would need a new panel which can be found. Wood seems OK from the photo but the top of the dash has carpet over the wood so probably needs doing - dash out job.

    Exhaust and bottom looked nice. Didn't see a picture of the motor so expect some issues there - the classic ones. The heater is a later unit as this one "should" have the rotary dials so it may have been upgraded or repaired at some point. Owners manual is a reprint so likely missing tools and documents - unregistered so it may have fallen into the hands of some dealer so a question is how long it has sat around.

    Given it needs paint and wood it would need to be a better deal but still seems worth looking at.

    Thanks for speaking from your experience. I'd guess you've called it all.

    Seems to be presented honestly, which is very nice. Looks like a very nice car to drive and enjoy as-is.

    Nice to see a well taken care of QP3 for a change. I would have liked to seen a picture of the engine bay, but the interior is one of the freshest I've seen in quite a while, aside from the weird dash treatment and a few minor niggles William has already pointed out.

    31000 miles in 30 years? Hope it was driven regularly. They don't like to sit unused...

    I'd like to see the service history before I look for my wallet ;-)

    Oh - P.s. random detail - Goodyear RS-A 225/70 R15's look pretty nice on the car, as well as being the right size (225/70), rating (V) and load factor (100). Bonus for being all-weather. Has anyone else tried these? How did you like them?

    I've seen this car up for sale a lot.

    Unless there's more than 1 in Wappinger falls.

    I think the owner is a Fchat member too.

    I guess there IS more than one in Wappingers Falls because that isn’t my car. I’d like to see the look on the seller’s face if I showed up there to check out his car with mine.

    Wow! You guys should start a club! These are pretty rare cars now. Especially ones that run well and look good.

    I drove through Wappinger Falls the Sunday before Sandy blasted us nearly to death.
