    Hi Gang

I am currently in the fortunate position of owning both a 1976 308 GTB (fibreglass / euro spec) and a 1989 328 GTS (ABS / euro spec). The 308 is a tad rough but sound and very usable. The 328 is near-concours (although not a GQ). Both are great cars in their own right and don't really bear direct comparison.

Problem is I need to dispose of one of the cars. Which one, and for what reason?

    Thanks

    Ken

Wow, they're night and day huh! The 328 will fetch more money but I have a hunch the 308 is more fun, if also more of a headache. All things equal, I'd keep the 308 for the fun factor. In the real world I'd keep the 328 as it's newer and less likely to break and maintaince would be an issue with me.

Depends on what you want from your Ferrari! If me, sell the 328, take the additional cash and restore the glass 308! As wonderful as the 328 is, your glass Euro 308 is the ultimate in the series. IMHO.

I like the 308 on looks alone...even the US version. I like the looks of the interior on the 308 better as well. The 328 is missing something for me, haven't been able to pin point what, though.

I agree with keeping the 308 and selling the 328, then using the extra $$ to bring up the 308. I think a glass 308 would be more fun to drive/own, plus should be more collectable.

I am told the 328 is a better driver, even better than my QV (i.e. cooling system). But the 308 is a classier look...and yes, I prefer the US version with the big black bumpers over the Euro...again, don't know why...just do. Maybe it's because that's how I first saw a 308 as a kid.

    Anyway, keep the 308.
