So here's another early start thread - 8 hr 30 min to go. Report about an hour ago had the day starting quite cloudy and the T-Storm icon is showing on the formula1 site. Guess we'll have to keep monitoring the wx during the next 8 hrs to see if it will be normal start or SC start.

    Carol

Speedy is at this race, too bad he can't give us live wx reports and other things that he sees from his location on the circuit.

Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain.

3 of the 5 rain masters are back enough so that they would profit from a wet race.

Steve just wanted to let you know my 355 failed to start this past weekend. Fortunately I found out it was just in need of a new battery but I kicked my wife's E320 anyway just because I always blame the Mercedes for any Ferrari bad luck and I know this will spell disaster for Hamilton's hopes today. I am staying up for this one until 1 am here so I plan to needle you all night with Hamilton bad karma. :D

However I do owe you a "GO Hamilton" so I figured I will just get it out of the way now. :D

Yeah, if you keep both of these open, with one minimized and muted, you can jump from one to the other when the streams gets dumped.

Finally a late night race here instead of early morning. I can't get myself out of bed for them. Bahrain would have been REALLY bad that early!

I really hope for rain to add some excitement, especially if it's intermittent throughout. Go Vettel!

Mike Gascoyne - he said the track is wet now. And there's rain on the webcam from the harbour.

This could play right into Vettel's hands... He's on pole and he is great in wet conditions.

He could walk this race...unless there's an accident and the safety car shuffles up the order.

I put either probability at close to 50%...

On the bright side, rain always throws up surprise results, so get your popcorn ready!!!

I would hate to see another Vettel/Webber(/Hamilton?) rain incident like Fuji.

don't forget Schumi in the rain.

Guess it doesn't matter now since track is dry as of 20 minutes ago.
