    Saw on 6speed board:

    -around 500hp
    -upgraded brakes
    -lowered suspension
    -yellow stitching

    sounds good to me. :)

Well no power boost, but definitely a stiffer suspension (the old fashion way, no advanced Skyhook suspension), blackened trim instead of chrome. Not sure how popular this model will be when technically your getting a Sport GT with a harder suspension. Although I love the concept, I wish it had more power to make it more special. Like everything Maserati, you always wish they'd give you that little bit more, but they always seem to hold back or are held back by other forces.

Haha! So true in regards to Maserati, always wishin they gave you a little bit more. I was a little disappointed to see no bump in power too.

Looks great, but I wonder how many end up back on the showroom. No offense, but out of all the Quattroporte models, I see more Sport GTs back for sale used than the Executive or the base, but that's just been here in DFW.

I haven't shopped the used Quattroporte market, but that doesn't surprise me. I love the GTS concept, but should I take the plunge and buy, I know the only way I'm going to sell it a few years down the road is to trade it in at a big loss. I think the enthusiast out there is looking more for an automatic that is sporty, handles well and looks good (the base model or Exec GT). If they really want a hard, fast sports car, they're going to drive their Ferrari or something else, not their Quattroporte GTS. I truly think the only thing that would have made this special is if they gave it 50 to 100hp more than the standard car and they didn't do that.

I agree there will be buyers, its just a tad of a let down when Audi releases their RS6 wagon with a 610hp V10 twin turbo today in reply to Maserati's offering.

I agree , it could use a horsepower bump to maybe 450+. However the total package is fantastic.

Eventhough im in a minority , i think its utterly foolish and complete BS to have a sedan with 610hp. Esp when your own sportscar makes 420 hp ( R8 )..

My Gallardo will sure get wiped out by a suped up 4 door A6 :-( Buying the Maserati GTS won't help the cause. I can imagine YouTube in a few months, flooded with videos of the RS6 wiping out every exotic out there. Oh well, the horsepower war is all good for us.

Isn't the RS6's TT V10 only going to have 550 HP?

I think this is short sighted. If the HP wars get out of control, either the Insurance Industry or the Government is going to clamp down. It happened in the 70's, I see no reason for it not to happen again.

Holy Audi... This is insanity... It will rip so many cars apart... 130 hp more than a 997 Turbo :D Haha :D Wonder what MTM can to to this beast.

I thought 500 hp was "out of control" power....!!!!!!!
