    Can anyone tell me approximately how many Quattroportes are built a year, and the approximately the number that have been built in all? I am asking this because I am seeing a few Quattroportes every day within 15 miles of where I live, and I want to know if it is just a concentration of them near where I live, or if more of them were produced than I thought would have been produced.

    you live in a good neighborhood and neighbors have good taste!!! Production is around 20 a day...This year they hope to build/sell close to 5.000 QP's. The target is to sell 10.000 MAserati's a year. A target they have been far away from. However with the new stunning Granturismo it could come withing reach the coming years. Even if they reach this Maserati is a very limited production/ exclusive manufacturer. It would double Ferrari's annual production (if Ferrari does not launch the Dino) and is slightly larger than Aston Martin but far away from manufacturers like Porsche f.e. that builds over 100.000 cars (over 35.000 911's) a year...

    I see 3 or 4 a week but then I live a couple of towns over from Maserati/Ferrari NA.

    I was surprised to see in press releases by Maserati NA that their #1 market in the US is S Florida, followed by the NYC area. What surprises me of course is that California (or some region of) isn't on that list. I see a few around Chicago but not as many Bentley GT/Flying Spurs. I believe Bentley is building around 10,000 cars a year now.

    Well, that could explain the high concentration of cars near where I live.

    Bentley sold about 9000 cars worldwide in 2006, Maserati sold 1841 cars in the first quarter of 2007(which is traditionally the weakest for luxury cars market) up 38%.
