Lately, I have seen some used 2006 QPs with mileage in the mid to low 20s that have asking prices in the low to mid 50s. As this car was over $100k is this just normal depreciation or are there some real issues? At these prices, they seem to be very affordable luxury semi-exotic sedans. I realize that the economy and gas prices have been hard on these luxury / large vehicles. I guess the real question here is are these cars worth investigating at these prices or is there some underlying mechanical / service issues that is now reflected in these prices?

THe clutch is what most people are scared of. They have the 17-20k life like Ferrari. For $50k they are a steal, if you like them. The clutch costs around $4500-$5000.
Get a sport model if you get one, they have extra add-ons and are usually very close in price as the regular ones.

Standard model= horizontal slats on grill and 19" rims
Sport model= black mesh grill with chrome Maserati emblem and 20" rims, throttle blips when down shifting. Louder exhaust then regular.
Executive model= chrome mesh grill and chrome on chrome side vents, I've seen with both wheels. Usually has piping on the seats and trays for the back seat passengers.
