Next Hachette 1/24th F1 car is the Mclaren MP4/6. I think the Good Year and Marlboro will be attached to the base again. The body and wheels look correct, and the wings look nice and thin. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Is this a wish list? I thought they had only extended by 20? As much as I wish Alonso had been the release for the F138 and MSC for the 248F1, I dont think I’d pick up new versions.
This is for the Italian Ferrari 1/24th releases only, and it is still unconfirmed, but last time the rumors all ended up being accurate. Someone likes to leak information Even more interesting will be the regular 1/24th F1 series. They are saying we will get most of the remaining driver champions. 250F is on the old list. We also need the Tyrrell 003 and Brabham BT20.

Finally the correct name for the 512 F1 (everybody calls it a 1512, but Forghieri in his book clearly states it's a 512).
The rumor still is 220 1/24th F1 models. From Centauria's internal source, the regular Hachette 1/24th F1 collection will reach 120 and the Hachette Ferrari 1/24th F1 series 100. I think we are going to get a complete set of Drivers Champions in 1/24th scale, only been done before in 1/43rd and maybe 1/18th. Also, almost every year Ferrari F1 can be done using Hachette and FPPM 1/24th models.
I always found that interesting, since in the Ferrari numbering system, both 512 and 1512 would have been inappropriate. (512 implies a 5-liter car, and 4 digits were never used otherwise). I think the appropriate designation should have been 212, with the "2" being a roundoff of 1.5.
I have the F92A and I love it. Some work to make perfect including a few easy to find decals, and maybe a clear coat. The tires are nice and the red/black mold line on the bottom of the body is just like it is on the real car. Well thought out model. The rear wing is also very thin. Better than a lot of the plastic F1 kits.

By the way, on the 1967 car they even lifted the sides of the cockpit just like it was at SPA 1967. Attention to detail seems to be a trademark of IXO/Hachette on most of their models, with a few misses.
