Well two cars down and how many more to fine the right one? I looked at an original 78 308GTS, paint cracking throughout, speedo not working, limited records, interior only fair at best, crack on dash above gauges, door rubber and targa top rubbers cracked, zipper broken, etc. The clutch only engaged very high. I am amazed at how worn some of these car can get. I do have to say it did sound nice. The search goes on.

    Steven,

The 308 is transitioning from a 'has been' to a 'destination' car. Since we are at the start of that transition, you will see a lot of dogs that have been driven hard and put away wet. But you've come to the right spot.

    I would check out:

It's a good place to get a general idea of what is on the market. To answer your question, you will have to look through probably at least ten cars before you find a gem, maybe even more. But you don't have look at them in person, just use the internet. Cast a wide net.
