My girlfriend is currently looking into a 1990 348TS. Major service was done about 5 years ago and the current owner has only put about 5,000 miles on the car. Car has around 22,000 miles on it. It's black on black interior. The car itself is pretty sound, has an issue with starting up and idling erratically until the car gets a little warmer. Not sure if it's a sensor or what's going on exactly but it smooths out after a bit. The owner said he would be fixing it. The front bumper has a gouge in the lower fiberglass and it will need to be repaired (a little rough there). The wheels are 18" HRE wheels all around and he doesn't have the original wheels.

The biggest issue is the crack in the back window close to the driver side area. Looks like from what I've read that it happens a lot on these cars. I did read that you can get the Lexan rear window from Ferrari Parts Exchange for around $785. My question is how big of a hassle is it to get that replaced and I would be thinking about doing it myself, trying to see what all has to come off to replace it.

The car was nice, just a few defects that bothered me of course and I wanted to find out info from you guys on your thoughts. It drove good and the Targa top had been painted to match the shiny black paint. Car has had a paintjob in the past, not sure when.

The guy is asking $35,000. I think the car with the issues is closer to a $30-32k car.

Let me know your opinions and especially on the back window.

    Thanks guys for your help,
    Amir

plugzit, is this the full back rear window? Do you have some pics you can email me of what it looks like? Looks like if you can find them at Ferrari they are $2,800 or something crazy. Do you also have the windshield molding gasket?

Please email me pics to [email protected]. If you can also text them to my phone too please if possible. 316-990-6094. If we can get this window, it would be great and help with the purchase of the car so we can get it installed.

    Thank you for your post!!

We will want it for sure!! Can you find out how much shipping is to 67212.
