I am surfing the net for some interestingcars in Germany. Sometimes an advertisement mentions "MwSt. ausweisbar" Can somebody exactly explain what this means?
MwSt = Tax = 16% in Germany "Ausweisbar" is only relevant for Germans who are self-employed. Everybody has always to pay the 16% tax - some can charge it with their business. The price is including 16% tax. Hint: Ask him for EXPORT price! Maybe he can reduce the sales price for 16%???
Roel, when you want advise from someone who imported a car from Germany. I imported my old Boxster S from Munich, so I know the drill... You can buy withhout tax (MWst.) in Germany... but then you have to pay it again in Holland.... unless you have a BV (GmbH). But then again when you want to sell it privately to someone the MwSt. thingy comes up again..
