    Hello...

I can't find any info about the following, neither on Herpa's site...

Did they ever make a 1:43 355 gtb or gts ?

I have the 348, testarossa and F40 and would like to add a 355, but I've never seen them ??

To my opinion they made the best models ever.

No, there are no 355. They only made, F40, 348tb/ts, Testarossa, TR targa, and spyder, and Mythos. Oh, and various Challenge 348.

Their 348 TB/TS are awesome. The Testarossa is good and the F40 not so good. In overall shape that is.

In the 355-departement, I like the ones BANG has done. They look even better then the Minichamps versions. IMHO that is.

That 288 GTO is a diecast model btw....while all the others were plastic bodies.

There were also several kits that Herpa offered in colors that were never offered as a completed model. Some of these bodies were painted plastic...as opposed to injection molded in the body color...ie...red/yellow/back

I sold a TON of these thru the company I had prior to ScaleCars.com called "Brookland Motors" - look up ads in Cavallino Magazine ca. 1993-1995ish

The BIG problem I had with Herpas were the bodies and windows were prone to scratches. Because the bodies (most anyway) were molded in the color of the car, there was no protective layer or ability to buff out scratches....also the wires Herpa used to hold the cars down were prone to unhooking...causing hugh problems..

On a side note...I dont collect the 1/43 Herpa Ferraris...but I still love the 1/87 scale Ferraris and I *think* I finally got all 1/87 scale Herpa Ferrari releases...including Collector Club Editions and specials

    Thanks for the reply.
Love that Herpa stuff, pity they stopped with the F lines in 1:43.
