Yup. The thing I don't get is what are they waiting for? Do they really think that a day before the race 100 customers suddenly show up asking for rooms at 1'ooo a night? If people can't make a reservation a month in advance they simply won't go there. I would understand it if they only hold like 10 rooms aside but that's not what they do: they take the entire hotel off the market

I have TWO rooms available in Austin for the F1 race..would like to see both go to fellow F-chatters. ONE room at the Westin Austin at the Domain, check in 11/14, check out 11/19 ONE room at Aloft Austin at the Domain, check in 11/14, check out 11/19 These rooms are obviously in high demand. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to go. Email a fair reasonable offer for either room for the dates above and I will get back to you. Andrew
