First, I'd like to say thank you for all your replies. I feel very fortunate to belong to such a wonderful group of Ferrari enthusiasts. The question I have, which I should have asked this group before doing it, is whether or not I made a wise decision about buying the manuals for my 3.2 Mondial. I bought the following: FERRARI MONDIAL 3.2 / CABRIOLET WIRING DIAGRAMS Ferrari Bosch KE3-Jetronic Injection Manual for 3.2 Mondial Ferrari Teves MKII ABS Manual for 8 Cylinder Cars Ferrari Mondial 3.2 Service Time Schedule My logic late at night was that it would be wise to have these manuals since the vehicle is a classic. However, now I am doubting my decision since I know there is a Ferrari dealership in Vancouver. Anyway, before I spend any more money, I thought I should get your opinion about this decision. At the very least, I could use some guidance about making smart financial decisions about this vehicle. Thanks again for all your input.
Well, not buying a Ferrari would have been your smartest financial decision, LOL. Now that we have that issue out of the way, you should realise that after a few visits to the dealer your smartest finacial decision was probably buying those manuals. You didnt say what you paid, was it a lot? Do you feel someone took advantage? Anyway, its been discussed that many of the dealers really dont have any great desire to be working on 3X8's and things of its ilk, when there are 360's and 430's out there they can ring up serious $$$ on. Thats not to say they cant ring up some whopper bills on your Mondial, just that even if they rang up $20K on your car, it might pale in comparison to other cars invoices. So, unless they cost you something rediculous, I would hang onto them. You never know when you might find yourself needing to do your own service work, in order to justify your next financial decision in keeping the car. Congrats on the Mondial, they look like fun cars.
