I had dropped by Fantasy Junction a couple weeks ago and they had a 1929 Mercedes SSK Rennwagen. Another top-notch Fantasy Junction car, so it was absolutely beautiful. If any of you are in the area, I recommene you stop by.

The SSK in question can seen here: http://www.fantasyjunction.com/used-cars.php?id=2c3ed395ecf97f2f77d14d943d9feab2

...and some history on this car:

Something strange caught my interest about the engine though. It's a supercharged straight six, but there were nine spark plugs! There were six on one side and three on the other side (if I remember correctly).

My question for the experts out there was why there were more spark plugs than cylinders on this car?

BTW, here were the numbers of the car for those interested ;):
    Chassis #: 36246
    Motor #: 72308
    Body #: 924620
