Question about new maintenance contract

Good morning all. I am considering purchasing my first Ferarri. Looking at a 2014 model year. Local earrings dealer told me that it comes with standard maintenance through 2020. He said this is standard now and that the offer stays with the car. Meaning that if I resell it or even trade the car in to a non Ferarri dealer that the next owner will have th benifits of the same contract.
Could y'all verify this for me? Sounds like a great offer but I would like to Hrad it from someone who is not tying to sell me a car.
And also is this offer only valid on cars purchased from Ferarri dealers? It sounds like it would be good on any late model f car as he told me that it would transfer to the next owner even if I traded it in to a non Ferarri dealer.
