There have been several recent threads about spark plug wires some fairly technical regarding resistance, ohms, etc. These got me thinking. I recently bought a set of plug wires from Kingsbourne. They were a premade set imported from Italy made by CAI. CAI - Industrial automotive cables I noticed the coil and plug ends were not 'molded' onto the wires like the OEM ones coming out. When I was installing them and rerouting them ala the Goth mod, they got pulled on a bit, especially # 5 and the coil side boot came off. I think it also happened to #8. I pushed them on as best I could and all seems ok but in light of discussions regarding resistance, I was wondering if there was anything else I should do or check physically to make sure they are operating as intended?
