hey guys, the person buying my 328 wants to use a service called escrow.com. has anyone ever used this before ??? is it safe ????? thanks in advance
John, do you know why and when escrow.com releases the funds? It might be a problem if the buyer can refuse the car for any reason. I think escrow.com is reputable, just make sure you understand the agreement. Also, what happens if the funds the buyer gives to escrow.com ends up bouncing? Do they cover it?
AHHHH, GOOD QUESTION... i will find out.... also can a cashiers / certified check bounce or be cancelled ???

All this stuff is answered on their website. Money has to clear before they get the car. And, yes the buyer can refuse the car within a given period of time.(day or so) They're on the hook for shipping however. As long as everything is documented about the car when the shipper picks it up, I don't see a problem with that. It appears to be a win-win for both parties and with no downsides as long as everything is represented accurately. On a $60K car it's $360 or so, can't beat that.
Hey John, I thought MCI had a return policy on their cars. Wouldn't they take it back? Or was that discussed and I missed it?
