    Pulley nut tool hack. Even on the bench I’m sure an alternator could be done like this using vice and clamps.

    Thats amazing! I ended up using the impact wrench on low, I did not want to at first, but after using several strap wrenches I had to no avail, a good friend and Ferrari mechanic told me that is what he does. after I tightened the nut as tight as I could by hand I marked the nut and shaft and the impact only moved it about 1/8". I remarked it to make sure it doesnt move in the future. I know I overthink much of this will try that belt trick when I put my wp pulley on!
