Has anyone seen the Dino at this dealer. Spoke w/ someone there Friday, but he did not get back to me with the questions I had. They say restored, wanted to know if valves had been replaced w/ SS or other things which may have been done mechanically. They are asking top-of-the-market for the car, so it better be unbelievable. I see mixed reviews on this dealer, so I am apprehensive about anything they say.

I do know that it was in the garage part of the old facility for the longest time. Seems I remember the entire engine and interior being out. Let me look through all the pics I have taken and see if I can find one post finish.

I've seen the car, and looked at it carefully.

Chairs, no flairs. Interior is very nice. Mousehair dash looks good -- a bit faded, but intact and nice. Silver paint is absolutely NOT restored and shows plenty of stress cracks around the intakes and rear quarter panels.

    Wheels look good.

No idea on the mechanical condition of the car...

Thanks for the replys. Pretty scary that they are asking 99K for this car. It should be darn close to concours at that price.

That is one of the owners of FCI's car if memory serves me correct...hence the big price. It is for "decoration" in the showroom, but everything is for sale for a price...hence the 99k

I saw it but didn’t look at it that close. According to a salesman it does belong to one of the FCI owners and is a 1974, all original, with 38,000 miles.

I do have a few pictures of it. The higher res pictures are here: http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=2135386298

(I have some even higher res pictures if that will help).

i saw the car today and thought it was a nice driver. not a 100k car ...maybe 75k. i get so tired of people telling me a car is mint and the paint is perfect if it is not. this was a 20 ft. car . any closer and you were able to see orange peel and some dings on the passenger side.

there are much better dinos out there for 75-100k.....some are even chairs and flairs.

    Pete -

If you're in town this weekend shoot me a PM. I'm probably headed out on a drive with a few other Ferraris on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. PM me, and I'll give you my cell #. You're welcome to meet some local owners and swing by Sport Auto if you're interested.

Our Sunday morning drive is pretty intense -- and you'll be back in GSO by 10:30am.

    -Daniel
