Recently I saw interesting discussion about 599 owners going after new F12. Are they going for replacement now or later; are they even consider going after F12; are they waiting for limited edition...so whole discussion was about 599 & F12. My conclusion was that 599 owners will choose F12 as their next car sooner or later.

In one moment I was wondering what happened with 612 Scaglietti owners. Did they moved from 612 to FF, did they found FF as right choice; do they find FF useful for purpose that 612 was bought....

So my question for all 612 owners on forum is: Did you moved to FF? If not, what car did you picked up?

Thanx for reading, reply from owners will be much appreciated :)

I chose to purchase a 2009 612 with 1,900 miles after driving the FF. Loved both cars, but the 612 was 50 cents on the dollar.

Personally I'm not taken by the rear end, I still love my 612.. I may well move up to the FF in a year or so, once they've ironed the kinks out of the FF and it's stopped setting itself alight.

Have ordered a new FF which should be here in a couple of months, but planning on keeping my manual 612 as well.

    No chance.

I am more than happy with my 612 OTO HGT2. I don't need the all wheel drive, I don't need any more room in the back, and I don't need to go any faster than what the 612 already provides. Plus I don't like the looks of the FF nor do I like the price tag.

I have an '06 612 but am not going to switch to an FF until it'***** by the depreciation curve.

Does the FF have more room in the back seats than the 612?

For sure (leg- and head-room), and a lot more 'trunk' capacity

I sold my 612 last winter, but not because of the FF. I personally think the car is great (FF) but I think it has lost some of the magic of the 612. The 612 was supposed to be the daddy, the real elegant Ferrari delivering performance that is typical of a F V12 but in a well tailored suit. The FF has a different goal and I think despite it being brilliant, Ferrari will loose some of the typical 612 owners.

Both cars are amazing and have a different character. I am still 612 over the FF. It just has much more style, elegance and really...the performance doesn't matter....80% of the time you won't use it if u own any of these cars.

Hope they come up with a true 612 replacement, then I will consider it.

Also sold my beloved 612 last year, no interest at all in the FF. Rather have an Audi Allroad or good old MB wagon at a fraction of the cost.

Recently bought a 330 GTC. Just can't see $400k for the new Ferraris.

Next purchase will be a 458 Challenge.

Yes, sold my 612 HGTE for one of the very first FF's that rolled off the line... Though a 612 lover, let me tell you folks, the FF is a technological masterpiece as far as automobiles go. Attempting to compare it with a 612 is not even fair. In terms of driveability, reliability, road handling, transmission and overall comfort, the FF is far far superior. Also, As an owner of an Audi RS6 and a Nissan GTR, I must say its back to the drawing board for every other performance car manufacturer which utilizes four wheel drive systems...

Very fair statement. The FF is the most technically advanced car which I've ever driven.

I've got a 2010 612 that visually makes me swoon I love its lines so much. That said, I have joined the allocation list for the FF and plan to also get into an F12 next year. I think Ferrari's design department has gone revolutionary versus evolutionary with the latest line of cars.

I selectively dismiss criticisms about the jack-o-lantern looks of the V12s because, frankly, I think the impression of the nose of Ferrari's large engine beasts is pure savagery. It's as if the Ferraris themselves are grinning haughtily (or perhaps sinisterly) at their unmatchable power, handling and visual impact relative to any other car in the near vicinity. The FF has a rear design that requires some emotional license, but remember that the wagon-like shape serves a very unique purpose. As a father of two young boys, the FF is nearly a dream come true super exotic and family car rolled into one.

Am I looking forward to the price tag and a potential drive off the depreciation cliff?... absolutely not, but you only live once, and you cannot predict when your ride will end, and I'll make sure I've had an FF and F12 parked in my garage before mine does. After the brutality of the market on asset portfolios over the last 4-5 years, the depreciation of a truly unique and iconic vehicular legend is not the scary prospect it may have been.
