    if at 175mph one would hit the brakes for a tight hairpin and tap the downshift paddle 4 times as fast as possible would the ecu pick the best time to downshift and how would the 355 react as compared to the 360???

    I suspect hitting the brakes and downshifting at that speed is a dangerous proposition so I certainly have not tried it. Also, I don't own a 355 F1 but I've driven several and I believe it would react the same as my 360 F1 coupe. From my experience and reading the manual, I believe nothing would happen.

    At that speed the system realizes a downshift (even just 1 gear) would rev the engine beyond redline so the request(s) is/are ignored. I believe the system views multiple rapid F1 paddle hits as a single request to the lowest gear specified and will only accept the request if the increase in RPM at the time of request is at or below redline.

    fair enough but will the system remember the 4 downshift requests and give the downshifts once the reduction in speed is achieved???

    is it true 360f1 automatically blips the throttle on downshift i dont think 355f1 does its left up to the driver???

    As far as I know it only blips throttle on downshift in sport mode, the 335 F1 that is.
