    Have any of you had problems with updating? Have any of you lost your text messages?

    I'm waiting to update mine. I've read about tons of people getting their text inboxes wiped out completely when they updated to iOS 5, and I have texts that I don't want to lose.

    I updated mine the day after release and the day before 4s was available. I just synced and resynced, and resynced again to make sure it had backed up phone, and updated without a problem. However I think it is only time until ios5.01 is out as it does have a few bugs like open a catagories box on home page and some boxes just swipe screen to close and others you have to close via home button, also maps often crashes when going from street view to overhead map, and loses location and it will revert to standard view when it is actually hybrid view selected and only way to deselect this is to go to satellite view then press hybrid.

    But apart from these small bugs I am quite happy with overall update.

    Ya it took me 3 times until it got done and it took 2 hours to download the third time
