was Diablo a "bastard" son of Cizeta V16 and Chrysler's Iacocca? If so that explains why Diablo has been my least fave Lambo ever. anyone knows...btw if anyone has a pic of Cizeta Moroda plesae post it.

I dont know if the Diablo was a "bastard son" of Chrysler and Cizetta, but some of the Diablo drivetrains were stuffed into the Cizetta Moroder V16T for testing so there is a connection. The front cargo cover looks the same as the Diablo and the cab-forward profiles are similar. Beyond that Im not sure whats what.

The car was designed by Marcello Gandini, who also penned the Diablo. Lamborghini modified the design in ways that offended Gandini, so he sold the design to Claudio Zampolli. The Cizeta represents what the Diablo would have looked like if Lamborghini hadn't fiddled with the design.

    The Cizeta has a V-16!

Thank god, lambo fiddled with the design, because the Cizeta is ugly.

Its a nice car but the refinement does show on the diabo. I like it much better.
