Hi - I'm thinking of looking at a 355 at Bentley of San Francisco. This dealership also advertises themselves as a Lotus and Lambo dealership. They will only allow a PPI at their dealership.

Any experience with this dealership, especially as regards service on exotics? (Sorry, I'm posting this on several areas on Fchat to get quick feedback).

    Thanks!

Rick - I purchased my 1999 355 GTS F1 from them a couple of years back. They're a reputable dealer and there prices are fairly reasonable if yiu negotiate a bit. Ask for Jack Gordon when you call them, as he's the gentlrman I used for my purchase. Good Luck!

Thanks Doug... the guy I'm dealing with is Vince Golde (Bentley of SF). Is Jack Gordon at Ferrari of SF?

    Thanks

Two of my clients have bought cars there and have been very happy, one Bently and one lambo. In fact one went out of his way to get a car there because he trust's them.

I thought Jack Gordon was at SVAG in Los Gatos?

Thanks - that's what I also found doing a search - he's at Silicon Valley Auto Group. After talking with Vince Golde at Bentley of SF, I emailed them and asked if they had the Ferrari SD3 tester to allow a complete PPI to be done. I haven't heard back in past couple hours.

I'm thinking they are offended or think I'm being picky by asking a question like that, since they haven't responded to me. My first approx 6 emails in past couple days were answered almost immediately. If they can't or won't answer a question like that, I'll definitely pass.

It's not a matter of trust in the dealer, it's a matter that they need that tester to do a thorough PPI on the vehicle to determine the current state of the car, even though they say a major was done this year.

He responded a bit ago that he doesn't know, but that their techs are excellent.... I'm sure they aren't equipped to do a thorough PPI. Checked with Ferrari of Silicon Valley and Ferrari of SF, and neither will do a PPI off their site.

They say there was a major done at F of SV earlier this year. F of SV said they'd get back to me in 10min with info, based on the VIN, but that was an hour ago. So I'm still waiting for more info.
