Question on Getrag in 458.. what changes in race mode

When you go from Sport to Race mode in the Getrag, what changes in the system to make it apply the next clutch pack harder?

1. When you switch to Race mode does the pump pressure go to a higher relief setting to make it hit harder (harder on pump)?

2. Or does the pressure at the pump stay the same and the solenoid go to a larger passage/valve to apply the clutch faster/harder?

Just curious for longevity reasons.
