    Water temp transmitter...part number 148677 does not have a gasket nor copper washer according to the parts manual...i think this is the sensor for the water temp gauge in the car.

    The 2 other water temp sensors that screw into the water manifold both have copper washers...should number 148677 have a washer or does it self seal in the manifold?

    There are no washers......thread sealant(HondaBond)

    Strange how this sensor has no washer whilst the other two do.

    Do you know why that is?

    Because that sensor has taper pipe threads. It seals itself and does not need a copper washer.
