I have never known Ferrari to produce any year as a HARDCOVER book with a slipcase. IS this an official yearbook from Ferrari?, if so, have they ever done this before? Is it a limited run for "special" clients/individuals?

I've learned that the description on ebay auctions can be a joke when it comes to describing something as "rare". The fact that they are just showing up now, when the 2005s should be out next month, makes me wonder if its some sort of knock-off. (strange way of doing so, though)

    thx in advance...

IIRC it's a paperback......I bought mine at FoH and it didn't have that slipcase.

Good enough price, so far ...they are about $65 at the Parts Department..

No, Ferrari yearbooks all are softcovers. I have seen others offered with a slipcase but I cannot confirm if these are originally from Ferrari. The slipcase from the book you mentioned only carries the word "Ferrari" on the spine. You would expect to see "2004 Yearbook" on there as well, just as the book itself. Probably the slipcase is added later.
