    Depends on what year/series Dino...year also determines which shape shift gate is correct.

    but not show quality chrome. flash chrome over raw, clean metal.

    I believe chrome is correct for all E series, can anybody confirm?

    As it turned out they sent me the wrong one.

    After I explained the issue I sent the Matt one back and they sent me a beautiful chrome one.

    Q: Do E-series Dinos (say after VIN 05000) have a chrome plated gear shift gate or a brushed one?

    I think we had this topic before.
    Original two different shift gates came with the Dinos.
    The change from early to later version was within second half of M-series production.
    The early version was chromed.
    The late version I would say was brushed...

    But I´m not a plating expert... ;-)

    i think its just thin flash chrome over metal. definitely not triple chrome process.
