Hello everyone... I have a question regarding the removal of decals from a BBR model, has anyone tried? I'm assuming they're just water-soluble decals similar to a plastic model type... I have Microscale decal softener solution that I used on model building, would anyone know if this solution can remove some decals from a BBR model... I prefer to ask before I destroy an expensive model first.

Using Micro-sol is not always possible. I am using always nailpolish-remover without acceton, but be careful with this.

What does the decal surface feel like to the touch? it might just scrape off by using your fingernails, or a wooden tongue depressor-acetone is usually needed for a tampo paint pad decoration. The MicroSol might not work on a decal that's been applied and dry.

Sorry if I'm a bit late, water has been enough a couple of times for me. Soak a q-tip with water and put it over the decal. After a minute or so, with the same q-tip or with a toothpick covered in a bit of cotton (like a mini q-tip) put some pressure on the decal as if cautiously scrapping it.

    Hope this helps

What model is it specifically? BBR decals are usually on top of the clear coat so may be able to get away with scratching off the decals with your finger or a very sharp knife (if you're feeling brave). Or you could use a plastic putty knife or another sharp edge. I have removed the decals on two BBR models using only my finger nail.
