    Hi,
I currently have the Tubi mid-level muffler on my 599. I am thinking of getting the test pipe from Tubi to get some more sound. However, I am not sure how that will change the characteristic of the sound.

Would it be a higher pitch sound? Or is it more of the same sound but louder? Most importantly, would it drone inside the cabin? Currently, my car doesn't drone with the Tubi muffler.

I have heard another 599 with the Novitec muffler, and I'm not a big fan of the sound. However, I have seen various clips of a yellow 599 (with Novitec parts) that sounded awesome! I was wondering if that car had Novitec's straight pipe fitted?

The secondary cat bypass pipes will introduce additional overrun "barks" - which is technically unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust systems. They will be clearly audible.

You can except the classic V12 rasp to be more pronounced. There will certainly be increased cabin noise as well - your drone tolerance will come into play in whether you like it or not, it's a very subjective matter.

    Hi Michael,

The secondary cats in the 599 are quite big (nearly the size of primary cats), therefore when you remove them, the sound will increase about 5 decibels. It shouldn't be too intrusive inside the cabin.

We have recently reduced the price for our 599 Secondat Cat Bypass Pipes. Our website will be updated soon with the new price, but feel free to PM me if you are interested. Thanks!

I have a clip of a 599 when it still had Tubi loud exhaust and 2nd cat bypass:

Anyone, there isn't noticeable drone, and it's perhaps about 20% louder and still keeping the original tone of the Tubi.
